  Reservations

Check-in Time
Check-in time at all properties will be 15:00 hrs. You may register before this time and if your room is ready beforehand you may be permitted access.

Check-out Time
Check-out time at all properties will be 11:00hrs. Guests wishing to depart later than 11:00 hrs will be charged £20.00 for late check-out.

Cancellation Time
Standard Reservations may be cancelled by 12 noon on the day of arrival. If a reservation is cancelled after this time, one nights’ accommodation will be charged

Early Departure
If a guest is in residence at the hotel and wishes to leave earlier than date stated on original booking, they must inform reception by 11:00 hrs on the required day. Failure to do so will result in one night’s accommodation being charged.

Guarantee of reservation
All reservations must be guaranteed at the time of booking. This must be either a valid credit card number, prepaid deposit or a current agreement for account to company. A booking must not be taken if the booker has neither of these.

If account to company has been requested, a third party fax must be received by the hotel before the guest arrival, failure to do so will result in the guest being asked to pay on arrival.

Amendments

  • Reservations can be amended directly with the hotel. The confirmation given at time of booking can be used to access the reservation should an amendment or cancellation be required.
  • There will not be a charge for amending a reservation, however, if allocation of original room rate booked have been taken up – the hotel will offer an alternative rate. If the client wishes to cancel the booking at this point, no charge will be made.

Changes to guest bookings
It is unlikely that the hotel will have to change or cancel a reservation; however, Elizabeth Hotels reserve the right to do so. However, the guest has the right to:

  • Accept the changed arrangements as notified;
  • Make alternative arrangements with Elizabeth Hotels; or
  • Cancel the reservation and receive a full refund of any monies paid in respect of the reservation

Payments

  • All charges for reservations must be settled by you on departure with a valid payment method.
  • Elizabeth Hotels accept the following methods of payment:
  • Cash
  • Cheques – with a valid guarantee card
  • Company Cheques are not accepted without prior clearance
  • Switch
  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • American Express
  • Diners Club
  • Pre-Paid Deposit
  • Payment on Account (see below)

Account to Company
Elizabeth hotels will accept account to company if the necessary credit application process has been carried out. A fax or letter or e-mail authorising supplementary charges must be sent to the hotel clearly stating what is to be settled by the company or the client. This must be received at the hotel, by the date of guest arrival.

Availability
Rooms and prices offered by the hotel are subject to availability and the discretion of Elizabeth Hotels. Limited number of suitable rooms may be allocated to individual rates, packages or promotions and, when these allocations are taken up, remaining available rooms may be offered to the client at a higher price.

Pets at Elizabeth Hotels

  • Up to one pet per room booked is accepted at Elizabeth Hotels. A charge of £5.00 per pet is made per night. Guide Dogs are free of charge.
  • The client is responsible for controlling the pet and will be liable for any damage, soilage or injury however this has been caused by the pet.

Car Parking

  • This is provided free of charge to residents, unless stated.
  • Elizabeth Hotels will not accept responsibility for damage to or for the theft from, or for the theft of vehicles parked on hotel property.

Meal Arrangements

  • Meals are not included in the price unless specified.

Children

  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult to ensure the child’s behaviour is appropriate for other guests in hotel.
  • Children may be excluded from certain events or promotions where deemed unsuitable or inappropriate.
  • Hotels that have leisure facilities: all children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult and they are not permitted to use the gymnasium equipment. Clients are required to read and follow the conditions of used displayed at such facilities.
  • At selected hotels, up to 2 children under the age of 12 can be accommodated free of charge when sharing with 2 adults. Availability of these rooms is limited and portable beds may be utilised where free accommodation is required. Payment for any children’s meals taken should be made to the hotel directly on departure.
  • Children in their own room will pay 75% of any full price charge at time of booking.
  • Meals taken by children from full price menu will be charge at full price – with the exception of breakfast which will be charge at the child rate of £5.00

External Purchases

  • No wines, beers or food may be brought into the hotel or its grounds by clients, their guests or representatives for the consumption or sale on the premises without the written consent of the hotel. A charge may be levied by the hotel for allowing this provision.

Insurance

  • Clients are recommended to have insurance to cover cancellation, curtailment, and loss of baggage, personal effects and money.

Data Protection

  • With permission, contact information may be used to supply information about our hotel and send to occasional promotional material, such as information about special offers which that find valuable. They may opt out of receiving future mailings.

Liability

  • For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these terms and conditions shall operate or exclude or limit the hotel’s liability for the death or personal injury caused by negligence of the hotel or its employees, servants or agents to attempt to exclude or limit the Company’s liability in any manner which would be unlawful.
  • Clients are responsible for any damage caused to the allocated rooms, furnishings, utensils and equipment in the by any act, omission, default or neglect of the clients, their guests or sub-contractors and will pay to the hotel the amount required to make good or remedy such damage.

Behaviour

  • The hotel reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of clients, guests, or representatives, who must take all steps for corrective action as requested by the hotel. Failure to comply with management requests, the hotel may terminate the booking or stop any event without being liable for any refund or compensation.
